Trading Anxiety for Trust
I used to think anxiety was just part of being a responsible adult. Until anxiety started controlling me instead of the other way around. See, trust and anxiety cannot coexist. Anxiety is faith in the wrong things—faith in our ability to control outcomes. Trust is faith in the right Person. It's not a one-time transaction; it's a daily exchange.
When God's Silence Feels Like Absence
Have you ever felt like your prayers were hitting a ceiling? Like God had stepped out for coffee and forgotten to leave a note? Sometimes God's silence isn't a sign of His absence—it's an invitation to deeper faith. Silence isn't absence, and God's apparent inaction isn't indifference. Sometimes God is most active when He appears most absent.
When Worry Whispers Louder Than Truth
Worry whispers lies disguised as concern. It masquerades as preparation, as responsibility, as love. But worry is actually faith—faith that God isn't big enough, isn't good enough, isn't present enough to handle what concerns us. When worry knocks, learn to answer the door with prayer instead of panic.
